I was on a search for Georgia O'Keeffe's house in New Mexico when
I came across this little out of the way, totally isolated mission. Standing at it's entrance was this
icon of Christ someone had carved from a tree. I was very touched at how the carver had made use of the
available materials to exemplify their faith. ~ Anni Adkins
